Calico is a fabric made from unbleached and often not fully processed cotton, and looks like it is very close to its natural form.
Plain weave, tightly woven.

There are small flecks throughout, which are little pieces of cotton seeds. Produced in solid colors and floral designs.
Somewhat coarse, tough and sturdy, but less thick than canvas or denim. Holds up well.
